Meeting Long Term Needs

As the unrest and sporadic violence continues in South Sudan, we must identify and help meet the long term needs that bring an end to a cycle of destruction. In a country whose people have only known war and violence, the only things that will ensure long term change are education and a firm belief in democracy. People must be taught that democracy and peace are the tools they must turn to instead of violence. Sadly this is not something that will change overnight. We consider it a worthy cause to pursue, and with time and education, change will come. Please continue to join with us as we seek to ensure that this generation of young people receives the education that will give them the opportunities that their fathers didn’t have. Let each shot fired and life tragically lost simply solidify our resolve to see change and peace brought to this young nation.
